The Penang Port Fire & Rescue unit is a specialized department responsible for rescue and fire fighting within the various terminals in Penang Port. As a full-fledged fire department, we provide fire-fighting services, structural and ship fire response, emergency medical response, hazardous materials response, fire prevention courses/programs etc.
As graduates of the Fire and Rescue Academy Malaysia, our fire-fighters have gone through rigorous training and they comply with the requirements of Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia. Equipped with advance equipment and knowledge, our fire fighters work 24-7 a week on a scheduled basis to ensure the safety of our staff, port users and port facilities.
