NEW FERRY FARES ANNOUNCED: AN UPGRADED EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE

PENANG, 6TH SEPTEMBER 2023 - In a bid to improve the ferry experience and maintain the highest standards of service, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) is pleased to announce new ferry fares for our esteemed passengers at Pangkalan Raja Tun Uda (PRTU) and Pangkalan Sultan Abdul Halim (PSAH). These updated rates will come into effect on 7 September 2023.

The new ferry fares reflect our commitment on our persistence towards continued improvement for all passengers -- while also supporting the upgraded facilities of the ferry service. Our goal is to provide a safe, convenient, and enjoyable journey for everyone, and these changes are instrumental in achieving that objective.

The new ferry fares are as follows:

• Pedestrians below 12 years old: RM1.00 at each terminal
• Adults (12 years old and above): RM 2.00 at each terminal
• Bicycle: RM 2.00 at each terminal
• Motorcycle: RM 2.50 at each terminal
   

In addition to the ferry fares, PPSB will introduce a MOnthly Pass offering significant discounts for frequent travellers. Passengers can enjoy a 50% discount on the Monthly Pass until 31 December 2023, and thereafter a 30% discount starting 1 January 2024. This initiative aims to provide even more value and convenience for our loyal ferry passengers.
