Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) Collaborates with Mutiara Foodbank

On 17 December 2022, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) collaborated with Mutiara Foodbank, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) established with the aim of distributing edible food from going to waste to the poor & to give a positive impact on the underprivileged people in Penang.

Various activities such as packing, distribution of lunch boxes, and kitchen duties were done together with the help of volunteers from PPSB. PPSB & Mutiara Foodbank distributed 150 lunch boxes to underprivileged families at Kampung Baru, Jalan Air Putih, Ayer Itam, Penang.

During the program, volunteers were briefed about the efforts & initiatives from Mutiara Foodbank to assist the underprivileged families and supporting United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 2 which is about creating a world free of hunger by 2030.

PPSB will continue to empower underprivileged families by implementing integrated solutions and creating systemic change toward ending hunger by collaborating with Mutiara Foodbank.
