Universiti Utara Malaysia students recently embarked on an educational visit to Penang Port Sdn Bhd

On 2/7/2024, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) students recently embarked on an educational visit to Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB). This trip provided valuable insights into the port's operations and its significance within Malaysia's maritime industry.

Throughout the visit, students received briefings on PPSB's history, its extensive facilities and equipment, cargo handling processes, and its commitment to environmental sustainability initiatives. They also had the opportunity to witness these operations firsthand, interact with PPSB staff, and ask questions to deepen their understanding of the port industry.

This educational visit proved to be an enriching experience for the UUM students. It allowed them to grasp the crucial role ports play in the global economy and the intricate workings of the maritime sector.
