Aligning Technology with Operational Excellence

𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐍𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄. 

On 29 January 2026, Penang Port Sdn. Bhd. (PPSB) hosted a strategic engagement with MMC Group's technology leadership. We welcomed Datuk Imri Mokhtar, Group Technology and Transformation Officer, and Puan Hasniza Mohamed, Deputy Group Technology and Transformation of the Group of MMC, DRB-HICOM and Tradewinds.  

Dato’ Sasedharan Vasudevan, PPSB’s CEO, along with our divisional leaders, presented our IT digital roadmap. The session emphasised our adoption of next-generation technology to improve business outcomes. By harnessing MMC Group’s technological expertise, we are streamlining our supply chain, using data to reduce downtime, and strengthening our role as the main gateway in the northern region.  

The visit concluded with a tour of the North Butterworth Container Terminal, Pangkalan Sultan Abdul Halim and Pangkalan Raja Tun Uda Ferry Terminals, and Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal, demonstrating how our digital strategy results in tangible operational improvements and benefits.
