Welcoming Norwegian Sky: A New Milestone for Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal!

PPSB is excited to celebrate the inaugural call of the Norwegian Sky vessel at Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal, in their 17-day voyage from Port Louis, Mauritius Island, to Singapore, under the theme of “New Year”. This cruise features 1,002 cabins and can accommodate 1,878 passengers. Norwegian Sky was welcomed with a spectacular traditional Dragon Dance performance, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey.
This significant occasion was attended by Dato’ Yeoh Soon Hin, Chairman of Penang Port Commission (PPC), Dato’ Dr Vijayaindiaran Viswalingam, General Manager of PPC and Mr Mohamad Nizam bin Ismail, Head of Division for Technical Services, Cruise & Ferry Operations of Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) along with the representatives from PPC and PPSB.
The arrival of Norwegian Sky marks a significant milestone for the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal, further contributing to the growth of the local economy. We look forward to many more exciting journeys and continuing our partnership with global cruise lines!
