Chinese New Year Celebration at Eastern & Oriental Hotel

On 11 February 2026, the grand ballroom of the Eastern & Oriental Hotel was filled with those who make Penang Port what it is. Key stakeholders and the heartbeat of our operations gathered for an unforgettable Chinese New Year celebration over dinner. 

Acrobatic lions danced. Drums boomed. A stunning mask-changing performance left everyone in awe. The stage was beautiful, but the real magic was the people in that room. We took a moment to celebrate those who deserve it most. Our stakeholder awards highlighted the excellence that keeps Penang Port moving forward every day. 

Then the whole room came alive with the Yee Sang toss. Hands raised, smiles wide, everyone poured their hopes into the Year of the Fire Horse together. That single moment captured everything. We are not just colleagues working in the same industry, we are a community that genuinely cares about growing together.
