Maiden Call of MSC Magnifica

On 8 April 2026, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) welcomed the maiden call of MSC Magnifica. 

The cruise ship arrived with approximately 2,200 passengers and 1,000 crew members on board, marking a significant visit to Penang. The arrival reflects the continued confidence of international cruise operators in Penang as an attractive destination for global travelers. 

The visit further strengthens Penang Port’s role as an important cruise hub in the region, while contributing to the growth of tourism and local economic activities.
