Sharifah Hamidah binti Syed Harun
Puan Sharifah Hamidah binti Syed Harun was appointed as a Director of Penang Port Sdn Bhd on 22 August 2017.
Puan Sharifah Hamidah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. She also holds a Master of Commerce (Human Resource Development) from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
Puan Sharifah Hamidah began her career with the Government as an Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Energy, Communication and Multimedia in 2003. In 2009, she served as the Principal Assistant Secretary for Human Resource Management Division in the Ministry of International Trade and Industry before joining the SC as a Senior Executive in Human Resource Department under JPA Cross Fertilization Program in 2011 until 2012. She was then appointed as the Principal Assistant Secretary at various divisions in the Ministry of Finance.
Puan Sharifah Hamidah currently serves as the Head of Section (Public Money II) in Public Asset Management Division of the Ministry of Finance.
Puan Sharifah Hamidah currently sits on the Board of Kedah State Development Corporation (PKNK).
